"Feeds"

Wow this topic is a bit different. I found though that the feeds were mainly American so was quite disappointed in that but was pleased to note that topix seemed more Australian in its content.

On a different note my German student has now left our household so I hope to find that life settles down somewhat and hopefully I can catch up with my work on here. I also managed to fix my email problem which was stopping me getting my library 2.0 emails so hopefully its all systems go now!

Keeping in contact

I moved interstate away from my best friend ten years ago and have used email and digital images in order to keep contact with her. After exploring flickr I can see this could be a great way of us sharing pics without sending them via email or downloading them to our respective computers. Workwise it could be a great way of sharing images between libraries eg displays, new developments etc

My first Blog

Heavens it seems I am making my way on this journey... new job, new studies AND kids on school holidays!!! Wow talk about doing it all - just remembered got a student arriving this weekend from Germany too and all that that entails!!! No wonder I am feeling tired this afternoon.
